light-locker is disabled from autostart in a live session, this test will need to run in an installed system
This test will check that light-locker locks the screen
- From menu, press Lock Screen button
- Machine locks
- Move mouse or press a key
- Unlock dialogue appears
- Session and language options in bar are unavailable
This test will check that light-locker will inhibit access to session
- While in locked screen, press Ctrl+Alt+F7
- Screen lock warning shows and returns to unlock dialogue
This test will check that suspend while locked will inhibit access to session
- Click Power Button icon at top right of the panel, select suspend
- Machine suspends
- Bring machine out of suspension, then move mouse or press a key
- Machine returns to unlock dialogue
This test will check that light-locker unlocks the screen
- Enter password and press Unlock
- Desktop appears with any applications previously open visible
