This test will check that Abiword can be started

Open Abiword
Abiword opens successfully

This test will check that Abiword can open and save .abw files

Open a new text document
A new unnamed text document appears
Add text and save it in .abw format.
After inserting some text, the "Save" icon is enabled
Press the save icon, enter save location and then save the file
The file saves correctly
Close the file and open the saved file again
The file can be opened again after closing
Make some changes to the file then close the window by pressing the 'x' on the top of the window.
A dialog box asks you to save changes
The Application correctly closes without error

This test will check that Abiword can spell check

Enter a few spelling errors.
There are red wave lines under misspelled words in the document
Now Press F7.
A window titled "Spelling” appears, there now are some suggested words in the suggestions list
Select a word from the suggestion list and press the "Change" button.
The word in the document is replaced with the one you selected from the suggestion list, and it is no longer marked with a red wave line in the document
Press the “Change” button as many times as necessary till there are no more spelling mistakes in the document.
All the spelling mistakes get replaced, the words are correctly suggested
Spelling check complete dialogue opens
Press OK in dialogue
Dialogue closes
