This test will check that Gnome Screenshot can save screenshot of the whole screen

Open gnome-screenshot using the dash, and typing 'screenshot'
Select Grab the whole desktop
Click on Take Screenshot
Name it shot1.png
Select your home folder for the image to be saved to
Click Save
Is the screenshot image saved to your home directory? Is it a valid image file containing your screen?

This test will check that Gnome Screenshot can save screenshot of selected window

Open gnome-screenshot using the dash, and typing 'screenshot'
Select Grab the current window
Click on Take Screenshot
Name it shot2.png
Select your home folder for the image to be saved to
Click Save
Is the screenshot image saved to your home directory? Is it a valid image file containing your selected window?

This test will check that Gnome Screenshot can save screenshot of selected window

Open gnome-screenshot using the dash, and typing 'screenshot'
Select Grab the current window
Select Drop shadow from the Apply effect drop down menu
Click on Take Screenshot
Name it shot2.png
Select your home folder for the image to be saved to
Click Save
Is the screenshot image saved to your home directory? Is it a valid image file containing your selected window, with the drop shadow effect?
