Text | This test will test if you are able to launch Xfburn
- Open "Xfburn"
- Can you open Xfburn correctly?
This test will check that "New Audio Composition" Works
- Click "New Audio Composition"
- You should see a new tab called "Audio composition 1"
- Press the "Add" button (+)
- If this is your first time a message appears about adding your home directory
- A new window asking for files appears
- Select several music files
- The files are added to the project
- All information about the files is displayed: Pos, Length, Filename
- The size bar will contains information now
- Remove any music file selecting it and using the "Remove" button (-)
- The file is removed
- The size bar has changed
- Click on "Clear" button
- All files are remove
- Add again new files, press the "Add" button (+)
- Click on "Proceed to Burn"
This test will check that "Data Composition" Works
- Click "New Data Composition"
- You should see a new tab called "Data composition 1"
- If you have previous tabs open, the number of the composition will be the last
- Press the "Add" button (+)
- If this is your first time a message appears about adding your home directory
- A new window asking for files appears
- Click on "Create Directory"
- Give a name to the directory and add files to it as you did in the previous step
- Select several files
- The files are added to the project
- All information about the files is displayed: Contents, Size, Local Path
- The size bar will contains information now
- Remove any music file selecting it and using the "Remove" button (-)
- The file is removed
- The size bar has changed
- Click on "Clear" button
- All files are remove
- Add again new files, press the "Add" button (+)
- Go to "Volume Name" and write a new name
- Click on "Proceed to Burn"
This test will check that the "View" menu works
- Go to the top bar and click on the "View" menu and later on "Refresh"
- It will list all items and your file system again
- Click on "Show toolbar"
- The show bar will hide
- Click on "Show file browser"
- The show bar will hide
This test will check that the "Edit" menu works
- Go to the top bar and click on the "Edit" menu and later on "Preferences"
- A new window named "Preferences" appears
- Click on "General"
- Select a new "Temporaly Directory"
- Your new directory appears on the list
- Click on "Devices"
- Change the size of the FIFO buffer
- Click on "Scan for devices" if your devices are not in the list
This test will check that the Help menu works
- Go to the top bar and click the "Help" menu and later "About"
- A new "About Xfburn" window appears
- Press the Xfburn link
- Firefox should open the link http://www.xfce.org/projects/xfburn
- Press the "Credits" button
- The interface shows the credits
- Press the "License" button
- The interface shows the license
