Text | This test will check that LXPanel can change the geometry
- Right click on your main panel at the bottom
- A context menu appears
- Click on "Panel Settings"
- A window opens, showing the Panel properties
- In tab "Geometry", change the properties to Edge: Top, Alignment: Center, Width: 80 %, Height: 30 Pixels. Click on "Close"
- The window closes. The panel is now situated at the top of the screen with its new properties
This test will check that LXPanel can change the Appearance
- Right click on your main panel
- A context menu appears
- Click on "Panel Settings"
- A window opens, showing the Panel properties
- In tab "Appearance", check "solid color", uncheck "Custom Color" and check "Size" and set it to 14. Click on "Close"
- The window closes. The panel has changed color and font properties
This test will check that LXPanel can change the panel applets
- Right click on your main panel
- A context menu appears
- Click on "Panel Settings"
- A window opens, showing the Panel properties
- In tab "Panel Applets", click on button "Add"
- A window opens, showing possible applets
- Select "CPU Usage Monitor" and click on "Add"
- The window closes. In your panel you see at the right side a monitor, showing the CPU usage
- Click on button "Remove"
- In the panel, the monitor disappears
This test will check that LXPanel can minimize automatically
- In Preferences window, click on on tab "Advanced" and check "Minimize panel when not in use". Click on "OK"
- The window closes. The panel is hidden
- Hover to the top of the screen, where the panel has been
- The panel appears again
