This test will check that XPad can start and create a new pad.

XPad can be activated in the Lubuntu Start Menu at "Accessories". Click on "XPad"
A new symbol appears in the notifications area
Left click on the symbol
A new pad opens
Insert the text "Lubuntu is a lightweight distribution."
The text appears in the pad
Click on the cross "X" at the bottom of the pad
The pad is saved and closed

This test will check that XPad can change the pad properties.

Right-click on the XPad symbol in the notification area, then on "Preferences"
A window appears, showing the XPad preferences
Change the properties. Check "Use this font” and click on the font name
A window opens, showing the font properties
Select Serif regular 11. Click on "OK"
The font window closes
In the preferences window, click on "Close"
The preferences window closes
Left-click on the XPad symbol in the notification area
The pad you just closed opens again, showing the new selected font
Click on the cross "X" at the bottom of the pad
The pad is saved and closed

This test will check that XPad can open and delete an existing pad.

A window opens, showing a notification
Click on "Delete"
The pad is closed and deleted
