Text | This test will check that XPad can start and create a new pad.
- XPad can be activated in the Lubuntu Start Menu at "Accessories". Click on "XPad"
- A new symbol appears in the notifications area
- Left click on the symbol
- A new pad opens
- Insert the text "Lubuntu is a lightweight distribution."
- The text appears in the pad
- Click on the cross "X" at the bottom of the pad
- The pad is saved and closed
This test will check that XPad can change the pad properties.
- Right-click on the XPad symbol in the notification area, then on "Preferences"
- A window appears, showing the XPad preferences
- Change the properties. Check "Use this font” and click on the font name
- A window opens, showing the font properties
- Select Serif regular 11. Click on "OK"
- The font window closes
- In the preferences window, click on "Close"
- The preferences window closes
- Left-click on the XPad symbol in the notification area
- The pad you just closed opens again, showing the new selected font
- Click on the cross "X" at the bottom of the pad
- The pad is saved and closed
This test will check that XPad can open and delete an existing pad.
- Left-click on the XPad symbol in the notification area
- The pad you just closed opens again
- Click on the trash bin at the bottom of the pad
- A window opens, showing a notification
- Click on "Delete"
- The pad is closed and deleted
