Test-case name: totem/tot-001
This test will check that Totem can playback video

Open Totem
Movie player should launch
Press the F9 button
The sidebar should open and you must see the playlist
Select the add icon (+) from the dropdown list and go to (/usr/share/example-content/Ubuntu_Free_Culture_Showcase) once there select the video (how fast.ogg)
Video should begin playing in the window
Press the pause button
Video should pause and the button becomes a play button
Press the play button
Video should begin playing
Go to the top bar and click the "Movie" menu and later "Properties"
A new panel should appear with information about the video (Video information, Sound information...)
Do you get the same result using the key combination Ctrl+P ?
Go to the top bar and click the "View" menu and later "Subtitles"
A new window should appear, select a subtitle file
Can you see the subtitles on the video?
Go to the top bar and click the "Edit" menu and later "Create Screenshot Gallery..."
A new interface will appear called "Save Gallery"
Can you create a folder?
Go to the top bar and click the "Edit" menu and later "Take Screenshot"
A new image file will appear in your Pictures folder
Do you get the same result using the key combination Ctrl+S ?
Press the full screen button
Video should go to fullscreen and continue playing
Did you get the same effect pressing "F11"
Move the Volume control (up/down)
Did you feel the change of volume?
Press the full screen button
Video should go to fullscreen and continue playing
Hover your mouse along the button of the screen
The controls menu should display
Move your mouse to the middle of the screen
The controls menu should disappear
Press Escape
The video should return to normal size
Did the video respond properly to the commands given?

Test-case name: totem/tot-002
This test will check that the plugins Work

Open the Totem
Can you open Totem correctly?
Go to the top bar and click on "Edit" and later on "Plugins"
A new "Configure Plugins" window appears
Select a plugin and mark it
Click the "About" button
A new window appears with information about the plugin and its developers
Select "Close"
The changes were applied successfully?

Test-case name: totem/tot-003
This test will check that the Preferences Work

Open Totem
Can you open totem correctly?
Go to the top bar and click the "Edit" menu and later "Preferences"
A new interface called "Preferences" must appear
Go to the "General" tab
Click on "Start playing files from last position"
Can you see the changes on the video?
Click on "Load subtitle files when movie is loaded"
Can you see the changes on the video?
Change the Text Subtitles Font
Can you see the changes on the video?
Change the Text Subtitles Encoding
Can you see the changes on the video?
Click on "Load chapter files when movie is loaded"
Can you see the changes on the video?
Go to the "Display" tab
Change the Display settings
Can you see the changes on the video?

we're going to change the Visual Effects settings

Click on "Show visual effects when an audio file is played"
Change the "Type of visualization"
Can you see the changes on the video?
Change the "Visualization size"(Normal, Large, Extra Large)
Can you see the changes on the video?
Change the Color Balance (Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Hue)
Can you see the changes on the video?
Click on "Reset to Defaults"
All changes were changed?
Go to the "Audio" tab
Change the audio output type
Can you feel any difference?

Test-case name: totem/tot-004
This testcase will check that videos mode work, we're going to need at least three videos

Open Totem
Can you open totem correctly?
Open a video
Can you see the video correctly?
Go to the top bar and click the "Edit" menu and later "Repeat Mode"
A mark will appear next to "Repeat Mode", can you see it?
The video will be repeat until you stop it.
Click on "Repeat Mode" to turn it off
The mark should disappear
We're going to open three videos for this test
Go to the top bar and click the "Edit" menu and later "Shuffle Mode"
A mark will appear next to "Shuffle Mode", can you see it?
Do you see the videos on mode shuffle?
Click on "Shuffle Mode" to turn it off
The mark should disappear
Go to the top bar and click the "Edit" menu and later "Clear Playlist"
The videos have disappeared?

Test-case name: totem/tot-005
This test will check that the Help menu works

Open the Totem Disc Burner
Can you open Totem correctly?
Press "F1"
A new "Totem Movie Player Manual" window appears
Navigate main topics
Is there any issue with the content?
Close the "Totem Movie Player Manual" window
The main Totem window is displayed
Go to the top bar and click the "Help" menu and later "Contents"
The same content which was displayed in the previous step is shown
Close the "Totem Help" window
The main Totem window is displayed
Go to the top bar and click the "Help" menu and later "About"
A new "About Totem" window appears
Press the "Totem Homepage" link
Firefox open a valid url?
Go back to the "About Totem" window
Press the "Credits" button
The interface shows credits?
Press the "License" button
The interface shows a license?
