Test-case name: rhythmbox/rhy-001
This test will check that Rhythmbox can play internet radio

  1. Open the dash and launch rhythmbox by pressing the super key, and then entering ‘rhythmbox’
    1. rhythmbox should launch
  2. In the Library list, select Radio
    1. Genre and Radio lists appear
  3. Select any genre
    1. Radio stations are filtered by selected genre
  4. Pick a station and press the play button.
    1. Does the radio start playing?

Test-case name: rhythmbox/rhy-002
This test will check that Rhythmbox can play play podcast episodes

  1. Open the dash and launch rhythmbox by pressing the super key, and then entering ‘rhythmbox’
    1. rhythmbox should launch
  2. Right-click on Podcasts, select New Podcast Feed
    1. New Podcast Feed window appears
  3. Add the URI to your favourite podcast or http://feeds.feedburner.com/UbuntuUkPodcastOgg-high?format=xml
    1. Podcast is added to the list
    1. Notification on new podcast appears
    1. List of episodes is downloaded
    1. Last episode is downloaded
  4. Double click on any episode
    1. Progress bar appears in Status column
  5. Wait until episode is downloaded
    1. Status for episode changes to Downloaded
  6. Double click on downloaded episode
    1. Does episode playback start?

Test-case name: rhythmbox/rhy-003
This test will check that Rhythmbox can install codecs and play stream from MTP-compatible players

    1. Have any MTP-compatible MP3 player
  1. Open the dash and launch rhythmbox by pressing the super key, and then entering ‘rhythmbox’
    1. rhythmbox should launch
  2. Plug a music player device containing MP3 files into your system and check whether rhythmbox imports the music correctly.
    1. A new entry Devices appears
  3. Test playing music from the device.
    1. Did the easy codec installer recognize any codecs that aren't installed and install them? Did playback start?

Test-case name: rhythmbox/rhy-004
This test will check that Rhythmbox can play Last.FM radio

    1. Have Last.fm Account must be pre-registered and used for a time in order to get a play list.
  1. Open the dash and launch rhythmbox by pressing the super key, and then entering ‘rhythmbox’
    1. rhythmbox should launch
  2. Click on Library - Last.fm entry
    1. 'You are not currently logged in' toolbar with 'Log in' button appears
  3. Click 'Log in' button
    1. 'Waiting for authentication' label with 'Cancel' button appear on toolbar
    1. Last.fm authorization page is opened in default browser
  4. Login to Last.fm using your credentials in the browser
    1. 'Connect application' Last.fm page appears
    1. The page contains the following elements:
    1. - 'The application Rhythmbox would like permission to access your Last.fm account. You should only give access to your Last.fm account to third parties you trust.' label
    1. - 'Yes, allow access' button
    1. - 'cancel' link
  5. Click 'Yes, allow access' button
    1. 'Application authenticated' page appears
  6. Switch to Rhythmbox window
    1. User is authenticated, Last.fm page appears
  7. Expand 'Last.fm' item in the left list view, select 'My Library'
    1. Track listview contains some played tracks
  8. Select any track, click 'Play'
    1. Did playback start?
