This test will check that applications launch correctly from the menu
- Select Archive Manager from Accessories menu and click
- Archive Manager opens
- In whiskermenu search box type ter
- Terminal Emulator appears in dialogue
- Click Terminal Emulator
- Terminal Emulator opens
This test will check that Favourites can be added/removed and that Recently Used is populated
- Highlight any application from the menu, right click and Add to Favourites
- Select Favourites in menu
- Chosen application appears in Favourites
- In Favourites, right click and Remove From Favourites
- Chosen application is removed from favourites
- Select Recently Used
- Recently Used applications appear in menu
This test will check that applications can be pinned to Desktop and Panel from whiskermenu
- Select any application, right click and Add to Desktop
- Selected application appears on Desktop
- Select any application, right click and Add to Panel
- Selected application appears on Panel
This test will check that Favourites menu can be sorted alphabetically
- Select and add a number of applications from the menu to Favourites
- New applications appear in Favourites menu
- Right click on any application and Sort Alphabetically A-Z
- Order of applications is sorted A-Z
- Right click on any application and Sort Alphabetically Z-A
- Order of applications is sorted Z-A
This test will check that Recently Used list can be cleared
- Select Recently Used menu, right click on any application and Clear Recently Used
- Recently Used menu is cleared
