This test will check that exo helper opens applications correctly
- Open Settings -> Preferred Applications
- Preferred Applications opens at Internet
- Select Web default web browser
- Drop down appears
- If you have more than one browser installed, select a different one
- Browser name changes if choice amended
- Press Help
- Online help opens in browser
- If you have more than one mail reader installed, change default in Mail reader dropdown
- Open a terminal and type
exo-open mailto:xfce4-dev@xfce.org and press enter
- Correct mail reader opens with correct e-mail address in To field of a new e-mail
- Select Utilities tab
- File Manager and Terminal Emulator appear
- If more than one file manager is installed, change default file manager
- File Manager changes if choice amended
- Open a terminal and type
exo-open --launch FileManager and press enter
- File Manager selected in drop down opens
- Select Terminal Emulator
- Drop down appears
- Select X Terminal
- Press Super+T
- Selected terminal opens
